Your PIA Western Alliance Voices at the NAIC

Several PIA Western Alliance state insurance commissioners are in key positions on National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) committees. NAIC President and Connecticut Insurance Commissioner Andrew Mais announced the committee appointments late last week.

"Through the NAIC's committee structure, state insurance regulators collaborate to set standards and ensure fair, competitive, and healthy insurance markets to protect consumers," Mais said. "NAIC committee assignments help build a strong foundation for the overall success of our committee work throughout the year, and I thank all of our committee members for their willingness to serve.”

Arizona Department of Insurance and Financial Institutions Cabinet Executive Officer is the co-vice chair of the Market Regulation and Consumer Affairs Committee.

Andrew Stolfi, the director and insurance commissioner of the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services is the co-vice chair of the Financial Regulation Standards and Accreditation Committee.

The International Insurance Relations Committee co-vice chair is Dean Cameron, Director, Idaho Department of Insurance.
